Syllabus
Contents:
An intermediate CAD course that builds upon topics previously introduced in TEC 101 and TEC 102. Emphasis is placed on advanced CAD file manipulation and editing tools to help students develop speed and efficiency. Also, 3-dimensional space is introduced. The course integrates various CAD tools in the creation of production documents. Specifically, students will learn how to create and utilize symbol libraries with attributes and produce a bill of materials. In addition, isometric, auxiliary and 3D drawing techniques will be implemented in the creation of production drawings.
