Heather Lavoie serves as Chief Strategy Officer for the organization. In this role, she has overall accountability for strategy development and execution, supporting the launch and administration of products and services that sit at the intersection of personalized and population health and help healthcare organizations transform the way they deliver care. In addition to leading Strategy, Heather has accountability for the Sales, Marketing, Legal, Human Resources and Client Relations functions.
During her nearly 30-year tenure in healthcare, Heather has led start-ups, health plans and provider organizations, as well as initiatives to identify and replicate best practices in healthcare use and delivery. She has directed projects for private and public organizations on transparency, diversification, product delivery, health cost escalation, operations consolidation, data warehousing, data analytics, and financial reporting. Heather co-founded and served as Vice President of Product Development, Delivery and Engineering for Choicelinx Corporation, a CIGNA Health Care subsidiary. She was responsible for driving product and technology strategy and spearheading the development of employee benefit and wellness designs and supportive actuarial models for national and local payers and Fortune 500 employers such as IBM and Morgan Stanley. During her tenure, she co-authored an actuarial model with Milliman USA used for evaluating custom-design benefit plans.

Naomi Ceder has been learning, teaching, and talking about coding in general (and Python in particular) for over 20 years and is the author of the Quick Python Book, 2nd edition. Having worked as an organizer in various communities in both the US and Europe, Naomi currently is vice chair of the Python Software Foundation board of directors, an organizer for PyCon, and the co-founder of Trans*Code, a hack day focusing on trans issues. Professionally, Naomi is the Open Source Development Manger for Dick Blick Art Supplies. She teaches Python at all levels and speaks about her own experiences of marginalization with the hope of helping communities and organizations become more diverse and welcoming. Enrique Kortright is Senior Academic Program Manager for IBM Analytics. He is also an Open Group Distinguished Certified Architect and an IBM Senior Certified IT Architect. He has many years of experience as an IT architect and software engineer. He was a Chief Scientist / Engineer in the DoD’s integrated HR program (DIMHRS). Previously, he was professor and head of computer science at Nicholls State University and at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro.
He has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Dr. Kortright taught a wide variety of CS and math courses and was responsible for the CS curriculum at these universities. He also served as a CSAB evaluator. His current interests include Cloud computing, Big Data, data science, the Internet of Things, eCommerce, and computer science education.

Director of Data Science at STATS LLC
Dr. Patrick Lucey is currently the Director of Data Science at STATS. His charter is to maximize the value of fine-grained player tracking data currently captured in high-performance sports. Previously, Dr Lucey was at Disney Research for 5 years, where he conducted research into automatic sports broadcasting using large amounts of spatiotemporal tracking data. Previous to that, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University conducting research on automatic facial expression recognition. Dr Lucey received his BEng(EE) from USQ and his PhD from QUT, Australia in 2003 and 2008 respectively. He has won best paper awards at INTERSPEECH (2007) and WACV (2014) international conferences. He has also been a finalist in the research track at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference for the past 3 years.
