FEATURED SPEAKERS
Tim Lapetino
"Yesterday's Tomorrow: Preparing For the Future of Design"
Design is increasingly a larger part of our day-to-day life, working its way more deeply into business, environmental issues, basic human connection, and the future of our race. Tim will discuss some of the issues, skills, thoughts, and trends that are shaping the malleable future of design and the role of designers in our world.
Justin Ahrens
"See Different. Do Different"
As creatives, we are built to see the world differently than most. It's one of our unique, innovative traits. We all say we want to be a part of changing the world, but how do you actually accomplish this?
Talking about it? No, it is about doing. But, doing what? This is the subject matter of Justin Ahren's talk "See Different. Do Different." - how you and can do more in your community and beyond. In addition, he will discuss the power of "story" and how it can transform both perspective and people.
In fact, Justin will be telling a few stories of his own, and how becoming involved with a variety of organizations (including his work in Africa), has changed his entire team's experience, outlook, and desire to help others – the reason(s) it leaves him saying frequently: "I need Africa more than it needs me."
One thing is for sure, you will leave this talk ready to "do different." The question remains, are you ready?
